10: The Jacobsen Room - A PMI Scenic City Vacation Rental

The rooms are quaint and neat. You have everything you need in a clean and comfortable setting. My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend. These rooms are conveniently located between Ruby Falls/Lookout Mountain and the downtown area.

Bed amazing. Shower very small, doors didn’t shut completely so water went on to the floor. Overall very nice place to stay

Quick stay but everything was great! Loved the location and it was great they were pet friendly. Super easy check in/out process and place matched the photos.

Wonderful place to crash for a couple of nights while climbing in Chattanooga. Great location central to everything we wanted. Comfortable bed, clean space, hot shower and dog friendly!

This place exceeded our expectations! It was located near Ruby Falls and Lookout mountain, ten minutes away from downtown Chattanooga, and 5 minutes away from several restaurants. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed and more. The king size bed was comfortable. The shower is a bit small but that was expected. The host was very proactive in reaching out and responsive. I would definitely recommend this place. The backyard space was also nice with a fire pit, games, and grill!

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway in Chattanooga.

The room was very small, but it was all that we needed. Everything was very clean and I was pleased that it had been completely remodeled. I liked how when we returned for the afternoon that we could stay in the room and watch some TV, or we could walk around back and sit outside under a pavilion at a picnic table or sit in a chair by a firepit. It does sit close to a roadway, but with the air conditioner running the traffic did not bother us at all. We had problems entering the room when we arrived, just because it took us a bit to figure out how to operate the keypad. I did reach out to the owner and they responded to us within minutes, we had already figured out how to get in. That was very minor. It is right by the entrance to Ruby Falls, Rock City & Lookout Mountain and you are only minutes from downtown Chattanooga. We loved that it was pet friendly too.. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Clean motel room close to downtown.

Had a nice stay here over the weekend. Great for short trips as there’s just enough room for 2 people to get through a couple of days but the location is very accessible to many things to do and a lot of good restaurants.

Pros: The place itself was clean and looks exactly as pictured on the inside. Location is close to all the main fun things. Responsive hosts. Cons: It is not secluded. It’s basically right off a highway. Surprisingly the noise wasn’t bad, but still- just not what we pictured. Also, there was a faint mildew smell in some areas- I’m guessing from the ac unit. Overall, we had a nice time and it was good for the price- but just some things to know before you decide!

Easy to find and a cozy space with a comfy bed. Just wish the bedsheets were a little thicker but that’s just my personal preference—You can control the AC temperature through a unit in the window so it wasn’t a huge deal to me. Everything was exactly as described and I would stay here again 10/10!

The stay was great. The location was very easy to locate. We were no more than 15mins away from the top attraction in the area, restaurants and grocery store.

We came for my husband's birthday, and the place was very easy to find,clean, and so close to Ruby Falls and 10 mins from downtown. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Good place to stay if you you just need somewhere to sleep & shower! Cute and cozy. The only thing is you can hear the cars passing by but other than that everything was great! It was also in a good location!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Jacobsen room. The place was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing that I would recommend to the host would be to have some sort of cabinet or small dresser with drawers. We didn't bring any hangers with us and had no where to unpack our suitcase to. I always unpack my suitcase when I am out of town and there is only as small hanging bar to hang clothes on, no drawers in the room in any furniture. I would recommend bringing plenty of hangers for hang up clothes and a small basket for underclothes, socks and sleep clothes. We will definitely stay here again, but we will be more prepared next time.

The most precious retro lodge we have stayed in! Super clean.

With a small room that will force you to go out and explore the area. Amenities were good but they didn’t have gas for the fire pit which was disappointing. I would stay again since it was about 10min from everything in Chattanooga. It’s private enough to make a date weekend.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Especially being close to Ruby Falls.

Our stay was wonderful! The location is perfect for tourist coming to the area because it’s near a lot of attractions. The amenities are great and the rooms are very clean. Team PMI is great at being responsive for anytime you have a question. We will definitely be back!

The place was right next to a highway so there was traffic noise. But the location over all was great to access lots of things to do. The place was super clean and cozy!

The room was pristine clean, spotless, decorated vintage, elegant, and adorable. I give it 10 stars, the cleanest room we have been in so far on our trip. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower, although small, was awesome. Lots of hot water, but you must let it run for a while to get hot. The towels were thick. The mini fridge kept all drinks extremely cold. They had a Keurig with pods & the creamer was in the refrigerator. The television was large enough to watch while in bed. There is no chair in the room, so you have no choice but to watch in bed. LOL! The hosts also included a bottle of wine as a complimentary gift to their guests. We don't drink, but thought it was a nice gesture. You park your car right in front of your room, so it's not far to bring in your luggage. We enjoyed our stay. 10 stars
