The Tiger Lily is a beautifully remodeled A-frame cottage in a tranquil setting with views of lovely Nick-a-Jack Lake. If you're looking for a perfect destination getaway, look no further. Relax on the large front deck and enjoy the views of your own mountain getaway. Located just 30 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, this home has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Whether you are coming down for hiking, relaxing or just to get away from the work hustle, this home is for you.
Attention guests: We have some local celebrities in the area - our neighbor's dogs! They're big fans of impromptu visits, so don't be surprised if you're greeted by some enthusiastic furry friends. Consider it a special perk of our neighborhood!
Please be advised, for stays 30 days or longer, we require a "mid-stay" clean approximately every 15 days. The reduced cost of these clean(s) will be added together if applicable and calculated according to length of your stay - THIS ADDITIONAL COST IS NOT CALCULATED IN THE LISTING PRICE WHEN YOU INITIALLY BOOK and is due upon booking. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. For this location, each clean will cost $85.
(For stays of 30 days or longer) A starting supply of consumable goods (paper towels, toilet paper, coffee) will be provided upon check-in. For extended stays, guests are responsible for purchasing consumable goods if they need more outside of what is initially provided.

It was a cute house with everything you need while vacationing. It is in a different time zone than Chattanooga so I had to keep track of what time I needed to leave to make it to certain site seeing. It has a great view of the lake across the street.

The a frame house was cute, clean, and well appointed with everything we needed to be comfortable. The views were amazing from the porch. The owner was quick to respond when I reached out to him. A friendly dog from the neighborhood came to visit. A little lizard warmed itself on the sunny porch every morning. The sounds of birds and the breeze was so relaxing. The surrounding towns were full of nice people and lots of Southern hospitality. I'd stay here again for sure!

The view from the cabin to the lake was great no matter what time of day. It was a quiet area that made the experience even better. For an extended weekend away from the city this is everything we were looking for. And when we needed to get groceries, coffee, or wanted to go into town it was an easy drive into the city and back.
The Tiger Lily is a wonderful get away, a quiet and beautiful setting over looking the Tennessee River. It is very clean and comfortable, a well maintained and fully furnished cabin. We enjoyed the coffee maker and the provided coffee. The bed we used was comfortable and the shower was great. The washer and dryer were a nice surprise bonus. Even though our weather was hot, the A/C kept us comfortable. The deck out front is clean and expansive, a nice place for coffee or a meal or just relaxing in the sun or shade. The yard is well kept. The charcoal grill with charcoal provided made cooking easy. We are thankful for the time we had at The Tiger Lily. One suggestion to help first timers: Perhaps the directions could include instructions also from the west (Nashville), not only from the east (Chattanooga). We also think it would be helpful to indicate how far (miles) it is on the final two roads, 27 and Mullins Cove.
